In a brief clash between Mobberley and Ashley, it was Ashley who emerged triumphant, effortlessly chasing down a target of 101 with six wickets to spare.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Ashley put Mobberley into bat. Despite a promising start with Mo Ali smashing 24 off just 22 balls, Mobberley's momentum was halted by a Turner v Turner run-out, triggering a collapse as wickets tumbled at regular intervals. Despite some resistance from the middle order, Mobberley could only muster a modest total of 101.

Mo Ali's return showcased flashes of brilliance, but it wasn't enough to bolster Mobberley's innings, despite Adeel Raza's quickfire 25 off 26 balls adding some impetus.

In response, Abdul Aqeel made a significant impact for Mobberley, snatching three wickets for 29 runs, creating some tension for Ashley's batting lineup. However, Ashley's middle order showcased their mettle, playing aggressively and never allowing the game to slip away.

In the end, Ashley comfortably reached the target in the 19th over, with six wickets in hand. Mobberley will look to regroup as they prepare to face Ashton-on-Mersey at home this Saturday.
