After a shaky start to the evening with the skipper sending players to the wrong club , Mobberley lost the toss and bowled first.

Bailo steamed in for his 6 balls but unfortunately his Henry V111 disease struck again ( not syphillis .... this time ) Northwich had a great start smashing the boundaries and lobbing up catches to the Mobberley fielders. Total of 4 early drop catches with the best being Ben Karberry effort as he looked like he was trying to catch an up and under at Rugby !! Dan hayhurst made his debut running in for a 3 over spell , looking at the camera trying to get a new Tinder profile pic in the process. With wickets needed up stepped Dan Wheeldon. Who after last weeks performance now walks around like it is a Colin McGregor ring walk. Dan snatched two wickets (leg side full tosses ) as well as one from Ben which slowed the run rate. Mobberley were happy to only keep Northwich to 128 !!

Sultan and Dan Wheeldon started the innings well , before unfortunately Dan got nervous approaching his 30 and his stumps went tumbling. Sultan retiring for a strong 30. Up stepped JB and Will Blackburn who led the team home in a slow , measured approach after being berated by the crowd for there poor strike rate.

Great effort by everyone especially Rick Chadwick who stepped in to play with a torn ACL. When other couldn't play ... one had tickled his ribs and one being on holiday to IKOS spending his life savings !
